The panel will explore the relations between artists and Artificial Intelligence, focusing especially on those experiences in which AI is already used by musicians. All participants, who are listed below, will share with the public their own experiences within this theme.
Uele Lamore is one of the first artist the Sony CSL Paris Music Team has collaborated with for the production of an EP. Uele is signed to Sony Music and she used many of the tools that will be presented during the Open House. She studied at Berklee Music School in music composition and theory. Uele is known for being a composer, arranger and conductor.
Sophian Fanen is a French music journalist who worked for Radio and Press and he is a very well known music specialist especially knows for his interest in the music business and for being one of the “Music and AI” specialist in France.
Ikuko Matsusaka-San is the technology promotion officer of CSL Tokyo. She worked on the development of Flow Machines in Tolkyo and is in contact with Sony Music Japan, Sony Music Publoishing Japan and SONY HQ.
Michael Turbot is the technology promotion officer of Sony CSL Paris and after spending 13 years in music labels promotion, marketing and digital business, he joined Sony CSL Paris to establish collaborations between the artists, the music industry and the scientific researchers on AI.
The panel will be moderated by the Italian Journalist Ernesto Assante, journalist and music critic for La Repubblica since 1978, author, television and radio presenter. In more than thirty years of activity he has collaborated with numerous Italian and foreign weeklies and monthlies, including Epoca, L’Espresso, Rolling Stone. He conceived and was responsible for the supplements Musica, Computer Valley and Computer, Internet and Altro of Repubblica.
